Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. Kelly Michelle Stables received her degree with honors from The University of Missouri Columbia in Columbia, Missouri. She is a graduate of the BA degree in Theater and Communication. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in theatre, performing and choreographing over two dozen shows. The most notable of these was The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly was able to land movie and television roles after she learned improvisation, and later became an Theatre West company member. Her unique voice and petite height has let her perform a range of characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara from The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was a regular on TV The Land sitcom The Exes between 2011 and the year 2015. The show featured Kelly as a paralegal during the day and party hopper by evening. Kelly was also a regular as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister on the ABC show Romantically Challenged and as the worried suburban mom on the CW show No Tomorrow. She's lent her soprano singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Recent roles include the charming and dim Cloud 9 employees on NBC's Super-hit comedy Superstore. She's married to two children and lives in a quiet home. She loves to write or sew as well as volunteer at school.
