Gifted thespian, she is working in the world of professional acting over the last 27 years. Her stage debut was in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. Then, in The Perfect Tribute, she was given her first TV appearance a year later. In 1992, she was cast as an actor supporting the character Basic Instinct. It was the beginning of her impressive profession. The Firm is where she first made her appearance as a female actor alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Through the 1990s she collaborated with some of the top actors in the business, including Gwyneth Paltrow as Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. Recenty, she played Dr Alex Blake (a police procedural-crime drama) in Criminal Minds.
